Who we are

Building the infrastructure behind Africa's energy transition.

Green Apple HK Nig. Ltd. is a Nigerian electric mobility and clean energy group. We design, deploy, and operate electric vehicle fleets — from tricycles to motorcycles to four-wheelers — alongside the solar and energy systems that power them.

We work at the intersection of manufacturing partnerships, public transport reform, and clean energy infrastructure — partnering with OEMs, financial institutions, and government bodies to bring electric mobility to where Nigeria moves every day.

Our mission

To electrify how Africa moves and builds — deploying proven, reliable clean mobility and energy technology at a pace and price point that works for African roads, African businesses, and African ambition.

Our vision

A future where Nigeria's commercial transport runs clean, where reliable power reaches every business that needs it, and where the partnership between African execution and global manufacturing excellence sets the standard for how emerging markets electrify.

Kofi Sagoe

Kofi Sagoe

Board Advisor

Executive Director, ECOFAB Energy  |  Former MD, Toyota Nigeria (1996–2007)  |  Board Director, Subaru Motors Nigeria & Major Nigerian Leasing Firm  |  Fellow, Chartered Insurance Institute London

Kofi Sagoe is widely regarded as one of the foundational figures of Nigeria's modern automotive industry. As Managing Director of Toyota Nigeria from 1996 to 2007, Kofi personally spearheaded the displacement of French automakers who had entrenched dominance in the Nigerian market, championing the sale of over 10,000 units and establishing Toyota as Nigeria's dominant vehicle brand — a position it holds to this day. Under his leadership, turnover grew by 1,090%, from ₦4.2B in 2001 to ₦50B in 2006. Kofi holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in Insurance and Finance from the University of Lagos, and was elected a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute London in 1990. His 35-year career spans insurance, financial services, and the automobile industry, and he currently holds executive board positions at Subaru Motors Nigeria Limited and one of Nigeria's largest vehicle leasing firms. Kofi joins Green Apple because he sees electric vehicles as the next great market displacement — and intends to be on the right side of it again.
